Vote for Equity

In Every Classroom.

I am an experienced and positive communicator with a compassionate, diplomatic and understanding approach to working as a team ready to set goals and policies for the division. Committed to student learning and a positive role model for all families, students, and community stakeholders.

  • Equitable Funding

I believe every student deserves access to a high-quality education, and that starts with sustainable, predictable funding. Current funding isn’t keeping up with rising costs or growing enrolment, which has led to staff reductions and under-resourced classrooms. I am committed to advocating for fair funding that reflects the real needs of our students and supports the specialized staff who help them thrive.

  • Career Development

Supporting students as they prepare for life after high school is an important part of our education system. Dual-credit programs give students the opportunity to earn both high school and post-secondary credits, helping them get a head start on their careers. However, the high cost makes access uneven and unsustainable. I believe all students should have access to these opportunities, and I will continue to advocate for long-term, dedicated funding that does not come at the expense of regular classroom resources.

  • Inclusive Education & Mental Health

Every student deserves the support they need to thrive—academically, emotionally, and socially. As classroom complexity grows, so does the need for targeted investment in inclusive education and mental health resources. Increased funding for early intervention programs like Program Unit Funding (PUF) and Student Learning Support (SLS) is essential to meeting the diverse needs of students across all grade levels. I will continue to advocate for stronger mental health supports in schools and greater collaboration between government ministries to ensure students receive the care and services they deserve.

  • Growing Communities

Many of our communities are growing rapidly, and our schools are struggling to keep up. Without proper investment and planning, overcrowded classrooms and outdated facilities will continue to impact student learning. I am advocating for expanded school capacity—like the much-needed new high school in Beaumont—and for sustainable funding to ensure every student has access to safe, modern, and well-equipped learning environments.
